Gurnard Bay
Following the parade which starts at Cowes visitors can take a stroll to Gurnard beach or take advantage of the on road parking. With gently shelving sand and shingle this beach is good for swimming and watersports. There is a slipway for small boats, beach huts, cafe and pub which also sells hot food. As with Cowes, Gurnard is perfect for admiring the boats and watching the sailing. It has its own sailing club and hotels as well as a green which is great for picnics and family games.
